Would recommend. Only drawback, volume could be a little louder- better with headphones. DVD Player has great picture quality. Plays CD's also.
Took it on our trip on the plane and it worked very well to keep our 2 y/o occupied.
Dual Remote Sensors make it easy to use the remote even with the screen foldedDesired Improvements Memory Card SlotPicture Viewer (inexpensive add-on -- most other player provide this)Firewire / USB Connectivity so one can view Camcorders and connect other digital stuff. ProsBest Video Quality amongst Portable DVD PlayersScreen Flexibility - can always find a suitable viewing angle. Folds Flat.
The only downside is the sound it is very tinny and on the high side.If you are not going to use headphones i would recommend buying some auxiliary speakers to get some bass. The swivel screen is a great feature and is versatile for all sitting positions. All in all it is definitely a recommended buy. This is a great DVD player the picture is awesome. Its very easy to use and the battery life is good about 5 hours.
It's perfect when your stuck at the airport or have a long flight. I also travel with it. You can even scan by using the arrow buttons in play mode. I've owned mine since October 2008 and have had no problems with it. Cords to hook it up to your TV are included, as well as a power adaptor to your car. This DVD player is awesome.
All the buttons are on the screen making it easy to use. The battery pack makes it a little heavy, but it's compact enough to fit in a carry-on bag. The screen resolution is very good. I've replaced my home DVD player (not portable) with this one because I like the displayed image better. This is one of the best investments I've made. I don't notice the difference between it and my HD TV.
The battery life lasts about 5 hours with the backlight set on the default setting and using headphones.
